Interesting thread. 350 miles and it has intermittent ADC, and now possibly an intermittent EPS problem. Lot's more miles to go before that year is up.

I am curious why are people so worried about fuel economy on a wheeler? If I wanted to save gas I wouldn't buy an extra recreational vehicle that runs on gas.

I don't think it is so much of a "worry" but more so just getting an idea of what it is so one can check throughout ownership and see patterns (winter, summer, mechanical problems, mountainous technical terrain, or high speed riding).

I like to know so that when I start a ride on a longer trail system, I can determine where my fuel ups should be and when.

I'm with ya on that, any ATV runs on air compared to a boat or snowmobile anyway.

Nope. It has not worked twice. After running if a short bit it comes back on.

Until it quits altogether I'll just kee riding it.

This would not detour me from getting EPS.

Having a 60 mile range is a huge negative where I live.

Thanks Checkmate.

That really has to be a fluke for the winch to die so soon.

48 mph today on the HWY and I was towing my little trailer.

It's getting faster all the time.

I wish I could get out and ride as much as you, I have a whole 26 miles on my new 850 xp that I got on Nov 7th, lol.

No issues with the quad yet as I have barley rode it but I did have to get a new winch already, half way through plowing my driveway for the first time my son came out of the house and wanted to go for a ride, we went out behind the house in the stubble field and were clipping along at a pretty good speed when the plow dropped to the ground, snow, stubble and dirt flying, lucky we didn't go over the bars, lol.

The 3500lb Polaris winch wouldn't even lift the plow and I have to leave it in the field and go get some wire to hold it up, hope the new one last longer than one day, it got warm here and we haven't had any snow at all since mid Nov so I haven't been able to put the new one to the test, sure hope we get some before Christmas, it just doesn't seem right with out 3 ft of snow outside this time of year.

Thanks again for the review your doing, I always look forward to reading the updates.
I don't know for sure, but just guessing the brake in your winch failed from the shock loading from bouncing around with the plow on it. Every time you hit a bump the plow will bounce up and when it comes down it is jerking on the winch brake, something that you should never do. When you get your new winch, I would be sure to take the plow off before taking a joy ride.
Just my thoughts for what it's worth.
