Like I tell most posters,I spent much of my time just repairing atvs that customers tore up! Wasn't into mods that much, but I installed clutch kits from Hi-lifter, and Epi. Seems like I installed more Epi kits, but as far as telling you which are better, let the guys that ride em tell you their opinions! From a mechanics viewpoint, the less mods, the better! I was into reliability more than mods! Others will chime in I'm sure and give their recommendations! Good luck OPT

I hear you and have actually thought about getting some new sneakers in stock size for her. I myself would rather have some reliability and believe the factory did a good job on engineering this bike.

Thanks for the info.

What way did you see improvement and which kit did you install?

i put the Sport Utility for 27"/28" tires, it pulls hard right off idle in high range, even better than it was with stock tires and no clutch kit

I never had the chance to pull the clutch cover, but i did have to move the quad and noticed it is back to shifting as normal...ok, a little hard but it was like that before.
So i now suspect maybe i had a lot of water and/or debri in there after the last ride, when i get a chance i will pop it off and take a peek.

you better hope you don't have alot of anything in there like water/mud and if it stays in there it's going to cause major issues for the clutches like corrsion, rust freezing up the bearings and rollers. imo
