Secondary tool allows you to compresss the secondary spring while you pop out the snap ring. It's basically a second pair of hands and it's easy enough to make one if you can weld. I can't so there went 70 bucks lol. I got mine at epi, they gave me free shipping because I bought a significant quantity from them.

thanks, i am about to order the entire kit from them with a new severe duty belt. I think i need to go too my local pol dealer and get the bushing that everyone speaks of, might as well replace it all while i am in there.

that is an extremely high price it seems but i haven't bought one a few years. the reason i say stick w/ oem is the tolences are alot better for the polaris application. meaning better aligment and better fit for less isuues down the road. just my
