I need a new starter for my '10 xp 850. I was wondering what options people have found for their xp's. I am ideally looking for just the motor as the housing and clutch are just fine. The armature has arc gouges in it from the brushes being stuck. It is at a electrical rebuilders and he is going to see if he can find an armature or get that one refinished. However I was looking for other options that other people have found. Thanks for the help.

 

I've seen some cheap ones on Ebay and also one that was about $600 last time I looked!
Maybe others have better options for you! Not sure if DB electrical can help you but worth a try! OPT

 

Yeah I Have been searching on the web and have found them as cheap as about $245 but it is for the entire starter. Db electric also only showed the entire starter. Thanks for the help! I need all I can get.
