The manual tries to scare you on the throttle body adjuster screw!! You don't have to replace the entire assembly even if it's been tampered with unless the tps spring is messed up! Just make sure the throttle cable isn't pulling on the butterfly OR just remove it.Turn the adjuster to where it is NOT touching the the idle lever,then you can set the tps vdc base setting and then the final idle vdc with the adjuster. If the tps has been removed or the spring is messed up inside of it ,then you may have to replace the tps. I've had em brought in all out of whack and have been able to readjust. Only one or two I gave up on and ordered new throttle bodies! OPT
