Last ditch effort...please help

Ok so I'm about to give up on my newest project the '89 Polaris Trail Boss 250 4x4. I've dubbed black death ha ha. Anyways here's what I've done and I still can't get it to start even with starter fluid now.
Carb cleaned
New fuel line and filter
Fresh oil and gas
New battery
New Ignition coil
New Spark plug
I don't think I'm getting a spark even with the new coil so not sure what thats suppose to mean I haven't tried the gas in the engine trick. I don't think its related but I do have the rear brake line off cause I was working on it but I don't think that would effect it starting at all. Also I "think" I might be missing the needle jet in the carb, wondering how much that would effect it, I would think that it would atleast start.
Its a 2 cylinder not water cooled
I've put in quiet a bit of money but can't keep doing this so some help would really be appreciated....Please help

Welcome! First off check the stator resistance specs: Black/Red to Brown/White 120 ohms, (Lighting coil) Yellow/red to Yellow 0.47 ohms. Coil primary (even though new) coil tab to ground 0.3 ohms, secondary (tab to coil wire, plug cap removed) 6.3k ohms,Plug cap 3.7k to 6.3k ohms. ALL these resistance readings + or - 20%. Also pull the black wire from the cdi to eliminated the kill circuit as the no spark problem. If the stator is within range, possible cdi problem. Also compression must be a minimum of 115 psi. This is from the old manual.Make sure you eliminate these ,then you can address the other problems you might have. OPT

no fire, no start. also besides what opt mentioned to you, make sure that your grounding out the electrical (like having the key turned off) preventing it to fire. is it all factory wiring or has it been torn apart and altered? just a thought.

Ok so I have confirmed that there is no spark, someone on another post mentioned a kill switch in the throttle but not exactly sure what to look for since there's only 2 wires.
I'm no electrician by any means so my question is if i start testing these wires does the key need to be on and what does the meter have to be set to.
Also you mentioned checking to see if the key is off?? what do you mean, like when I'm trying to get a spark? or when I'm testing wires.
Black death does roll over just isn't getting that kick to start. Snows on the way fast so gotta figure this out. I'll give ya a update later this weekend.
Thanks again folks

when trying to figure out if there is issues w/ fire, the key or switch should always been on. basicly w/ the kill switch on the off side it should complete the circut. when it's in the run selection it should be an open circut.
