Default wanting to run 55w lights for snow plowing

as stated, been wanting for some time to run auxillary lights on my 07 sportsman 500. i have handwarmers,3way headlight mod(imo not that great light dipersal) and reverse lights. My qustion that i need answered is in regards to the stator/magneto, do i need up the juice before i start drawing more and have battery problems etc. the lights would mostly be used during snow plowing night rides and shedding light field dressing whitetails with big bones on theyre knoggin! Any and all responses asap would be very much appreciated, Tanx and shoot straight this wkend and always double check your backgrond. just throwing this out there cuz itll hopefully pop into heads just as your gonna pull the trigger on the biggest buck of yuor life, triple check background cuz if you have young fella or girls in your hunting group ya'd feel god awful if an accident coulve been avoided. I bowhunt sept 15 till today and it just relaxing. But i get nervous as mother watching her kids jump out of an airplane skydiving. I get nervous cuz its those that hunt for the party lugging around weapons that have sniper rifle in our military. taking my 7yr old boy this year so maybe a little more nervous. remember when ya see other groups theres proably one that shouldnt legally and one that cant control his weapon and one who drinks tooo much too early. please careful and esp. if children are around being mentored.

Thank you sir , ya anyone wanting to up-grade there lights I highly recommend these lights . Plus there made in the U.S. which is even better . When you see the difference between stock and these you will no longer ride at night with the stock ones again . Sure there like $500 bucks but if you keep your machine 4 years thats only $125 a year , thus the cost is low and what you get is outstanding . Dam just this year I spent $1250 on atv gas alone

So no one answered my main question as far as electrical, just tried selling me on way over priced lights in my opinion. I want to run a set id pick up at for around 25-30 bucks as i use it for work ( food plot, plowing snow, cutting firewood, ) so if they get broke in the woods i don't feel I'm out much. Don't get me wrong the latest and greatest is cool but the prices are way out of control for what they are. For that pricei should be able send Morris code w/ them to someone 100 miles away. My atv doesn't look like its 5 yrs old its not abused i do care what it looks like but not paying for a name like rigid, warn, piaa, or any other mega marketing brand name. Price+funtionality= good. I'm not gonna be screaming across the desert in the baja 1000 but in 4lo pushing snow or hauling big bucks out or taking my kiddos on a little night ride! Appreciate suggestions but i have learned the louder the bang isn't the biggest bang for your buck!

I think you're charging system will be able to handle aux running lights .
If you have any serious worries about re-starting carry a jump box or leave it running while you work , I doubt you will have charging system issues unless your battery is weak .
I put a set of these lights on my Kawasaki Prairie 700 this summer , I had them for 5 years , they were for my truck but never put them on it . Got them at Wal Mart for $30 , exact model is now obsolete but very similar model of these lights now run about $38 .
Bright as daytime , I ride a lot at night , all night long a lot and so far have had no issues .
I am going to get another set of them for our 07 Sportsman 800.

Hope this information helps , sounds like what you were looking for .
These lights are 55 watt , they are affordable , i ride very fast and hard over rocks , in water and through mud & so far no problems , the lights I had on it before were 55watt fog lights off a VW Beetle, but the new off road lights are 10 times better.
my Kawasaki is a 2004 model & I have a winch on it , I took my time wiring it soldering connections , shrink wrapping / waterproofing them & encasing the wiring in a loom so it can't chafe trough.
My switch is a metal waterproof toggle for 125 volt electric from lowes - about $8 .
Have found 12 volt toggles won't last in an ATV environment . They cant handle the current draw & burn out , also water intrusion.
You can do this for about $50.

in line with the original question, if I change the existing lights to L.E.D. Which has a lot less draw, in theory I can then add more lighting and still tax the electrical system less. Does anyone else think that would make a difference in available output versus draw?
