I am looking at Sportsman 90 for my son. I read alot of old threads that say they are made overseas. I emailed Polaris and they sent me this reply. Do you think this is legit or some generic response???? Thanks!

Polaris has four centers of excellence for manufacturing. They are as follows:


Roseau, MN: Produces all models of snowmobiles, all models of ATV's, select models of the full-size Rangers & select models of the Ranger RZR's.


Spirit Lake, IA: Produces all of the Victory and Indian Motorcycles, all of the GEM Electric Vehicles (actually made in Milford, IA), select models of the full-sized & mid-sized Ranger.


Osceola, WI: Produces all of the Victory & Indian Motorcycle engines, all of the domestic twin snowmobile engines, select ORV (Off-Road Vehicles) engines.


Monterrey, MX: Produces select models of the full-sized & mid-sized Rangers and select models of the Ranger RZR's.
