'03 Sportsman 500 - No Fuel Problem

Thanks, I'll try to take it apart, I'll have to anyway if i got the rebuild kit.

But of course it's not coming off easy, I let the two screws soak in PB blaster, and still can't get 'em to budge without wanting to strip the heads

So I purchased an impact screwdriver, and got the two screws loose with two hits of the hammer. I'm sure this tool's gonna come in handy down the road.

Anyway I've got a new pump, and carb rebuild kit on the way.

In the meantime I hooked up a 12V fuel pump and seems to work fine

An impact screw driver was one of the first tools I bought in the late 60's when I started messing with cycles. Most every Japanese bike at that time had soft phillips head crews holding everything together. One of the best tools still to have in every tool box! OPT
