"IF" it's an internal carb problem, don't expect Sea-foam,Stabil,etc to do that good of a job,may not always work.. The best way to clean a carb is the old fashioned way, physically clean it up.Use Sea-foam,Stabil as a preservative. This carb is similar to yours. The BST-40 Bible - ADVrider Plus if you don't have a service manual, get one! Will pay for itself quick if you plan on doing your own maintenance and repairs. Plus this free 2009 500 pdf service manual has the same carb and many of the same parts as yours to use as a reference. Sounds like... you probably should listen to OPT. Take the carb off, and clean it. With the ethanol infused fuel that has been forced on us, we have to constantly clean the carbs. Once clean you should try to find some filling stations that sell ethanol-free gasoline. The ethanol gas creates havoc on fuel lines, fuel filters, and carbs.

Check your air filter connection to the engine. I had the same problem, it turned out my air filter came out from the engine. I dunno why, but it took away power.

EDIT:

Oh.. It's not feeding fuel. Clean your carb as others stated.

Also, i hope you turned off the gas flow. There's a switch on the left side that lets you control gas flow.
