Default Carb leaking gas out of vent

I have a 2007 outlaw 500 and after i rode it today for the first time in a long while, i noticed that there was gas coming out of the vent line. Actually the plastic line wasnt even connected to the carb, so the gas was coming directly out of the bowl and dropping onto the starter. I looked at the parts break down on partzilla but im alittle comfused. I dont see what i would expect ( a needle and seat). Can someone help me identify the corect part to buy so i can fix the float problem im having. I think part 28 is the seat, but i dont see and needle so im not sure what parts actually make up the float valve without taking my carb apart first.

Thanks for any info you can give.

Float needle, the seat and o-ring come as an assembly. Just doesn't show it in the breakdown. Item #28 is the correct number. It's a little cheaper here. http://www.cyclepartswarehouse.com/f...007&fveh=11303
