Default polaris xplorer

I have a 96 xplorer 400 suppose to be 4x4. I can't seem to get the front drive sprocket off thought there is a pin in it but can't find it. Can someone help I got to get it made.

If you're talking about the very front sprocket,the drive shaft has a spring pin that has to be driven out and the drive shaft removed to be able to remove the front sprocket. Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse

Best if you have an air chisel with a small pointed bit.Makes short work of removing the pin. If not, it takes a hammer and a punch and usually busted knuckles to drive the pin out.

Is the pin on the front or back of the sprockett cause I tried to push out what looks like a aluminum pin on the outside. An do I half to remove the u joints

The pin has to be removed,the entire shaft moved back to be able to pull the drive sprocket off. Here's a link to a pdf manual you can down load to help you with.Index of /ORV Manuals/Polaris/1996-1998 - All Models

I can't download the file. Onto another question there is a lil oval container under my seat that's not hooked up to anything u know what it suppose to b

Well heck also have new question that just happened I blew my radiator hose off how do I fix that the lil metal tube came out attached to hose that runs to the head any suggestions

If threads are screwed up you can try JB weld and see if it holds or you can either get a used head or order a new inlet nipple. I know it's not a air box its in the rear has only one hole in the bottom. An about the radiator hose im probly gonna have it welded back in but thinking while I have the head off I might check the piston out but what are the torque of the bolts
