Polaris 250 Oil in crankcase

Polaris 250 Oil in crankcase
In my polaris 250, I just got the head ported and polished and all assembled. My question is, do I need to put oil in the crankcase, or does the machine use he fuel oil mix to lubricate everything? Thanks
