Default 01 portsman front hub "clicking"?

So the fun never ends around here...I just get it to run well enough to use it and now I have a clicking noise from the front right hub.I tried pushing it in neutral and it feels like it binds and then clicks and then lets go,another 10 feet and repeat...I had t apart when I did the lower ball joints not to long ago so I thought maybe I put it back together wrong, tore it down tonight and reassembled, cant find any broken parts, plates bearings, ect. There IS a small amount of tiny metal shavings on the drain plug magnet,do you guys think I screwed up a bearing. This issue just popped up didnt start immediately after the BJ work.Does anyone know the bearing number for the 4 in the hub?Are they all the same?Thanx in advance for any advice you can give me!BTW 2wd,4wd has no effect on the issue.

Just recheck your work along with checking the cv joint(could be causing the binding) and make sure you only torque the hub nut to 12 foot pounds. 3554506(qty2) and 3554509(qty2) are the Polaris numbers for the bearings for each side.If bearings are needed you can match these up by the "universal" number on the bearing at any auto store or bearing house to save a few bucks.Or you can cross reference part #'s here,(about 8 bucks each) but check shipping charges.May be cheaper to get em local. http://www.hyperparts.com/wc.dll?ctw...ef~1001~1002~0
Normal to have small shavings or metal film on the magnetic tip.

I think the bearings from both Napa and Hyperparts are actually SKF bearings which are as good a quality bearing as Timken imo.

SO after it died on me again today(never ends) while pushing it home I was able to look at the front axle, theres definitely an issue in that cv joint, axle is popping around in there. So I assume a new axle is the only fix,any recommendations for a decently priced one?Thanx
