Default 2003 polaris sprtman 500 HO not starting

So I p/u this quad and everything like lights, starter etc all worked fine. Now nothing works, no lights, no starter, no 4x4 ( I have to pull start it if I want to drive it). The battery is brand new and is showing 13.6 volts. The thing is it worked last week with no problems and I have a total of maybe 15 minutes riding. Any ideas?

trace down the from the battery up through to see if there is a inline fuse/circuit breaker. it would be in like a black pouch. I'm assuming you checked all the cable connections as well.

I will check the cable for the fuse/pouch. Thanks for the help but is this a common occurrence on these?

Common problem on these even though they're sealed up. Moisture can still get in and short out the breaker. If it looks like this one,you probably found the problem. You can get a replacement 20 amp breaker at most auto stores.

Appreciate all the help on this problem. This part OPT, is fastened to the frame beside the battery? Looks like the red power wire comes from it and goes directly to the positive battery terminal? This sound right?

One side ties into the main power wire, the other red goes to the switches, lights, etc. Quick way to tell is just use a test light on the wire going towards the front. If it doesn't light up the breaker is probably bad.
