Hello, been away from the Forum for awhile, I have a CHECK ENGINE on my display and "O I L " above it. Anybody see this before on the digital read-out?
I have the Factory Polaris Service Manual and do not see anything in it about this .....or even in the wiring I do not see and sensors that can control or read the oil level state?

Might be a good idea to check oil pressure. Remove blind plug on the left side of the engine and pressure should be around 20 psi,12 psi minimum at idle. Also the check valve on the oil return line at the engine case.Supposed to keep oil from draining back into the engine from the oil tank. Manual says very little maintenance needed,but to check the valve and that the spring isn't distorted. May or may not have anything to do with the speedo display.I never had "oil" indicator light up on any Sportsman 450,500,but somethings causing it.Plus don't know if the ecm would have anything to do with the message on the speedo.http://www.usrecallnews.com/2008/02/...scrambler.html
