425 Magnum running problems
#1
I have a 1995 Magnum. I have had it to the shop and had the carb rebuilt and valves adjusted, but it had never ran right. When you are barely giving it throttle it seems to be missing. As you speed up it is fine. I also had a friend rebuild the carb, but it still does the same. Any ideas out there??

Had to go get my book remembered reading about such problems.Try the speed limiter system,My book says it will cause misses.
TEST PROCEDURE
when problems occur that sound like spark-related"miss",the speed limiter sys. maybe at fault.DIsconnect the black wireat the limiter module. If problem still exist not limiter. One more ENGINE MISS AT IDLE_(ETC switch adjusted incorrectly) One more thing when carb rebuilt did he change needle they had problems with them, were made of to soft metal. If can help anymore let me know have manual can e-mail pics,or text.

Check the throttle cable free play , It has a system which will kill the engine in the event of a stuck throttle. I have seen stretched cables make engine do some strange running.
