Default Hub fluid and Grease?

Little confused about greasing wheel bearings and using hub fluid.Wouldn't the grease contaminate the hub fluid? Although that seems to be the recommended procedure

Manual calls for a little grease around the bearings as you assemble the awd system. Just a little grease won't affect/contaminate the hub fluid,BUT you can always coat the bearings in hub fluid, assemble everything, have the fill plug opening on the hub at the 12o'clock position, fill the hub several times to remove any trapped air(bubbles will come up) then turn the hub to 3 or 4'oclock position to drain the excess. That way you know the fluid will reach the back bearing in the strut. I didn't always go by what the manual said.. Plus draining the excess at the 3'oclock position allow a tat more fluid and wont hurt. They just don't want the bearings to run dry before the fluid gets to them..

Thanks Polaris Tech !!!!!!!!!!! That is the way i did the bearings light on the grease !
Than i lifted it so all 4 wheels were off the ground and did a complete AWD function test.In forward and reverse using the over ride button. The system seemed to work perfectly. It goes out for its test ride in the woods tomorrow !!!!!!!!!!
