What do u suggest i take a look at first . tthe idler and reduction gears that are capable of locking things up... what will i be looking at as far as if there the problem?? Cracked broken, froze up... What happens the teeth break off or? Or flat out just look for damage and go from there A.

 

That's why I listed the manual link! It can help on partial/complete tear down and assembly if needed,checking out what may be the problem. Better than tearing into a machine blind.But I'd still check out the starter clutch and reduction gears first to eliminate them as what's causing the problems.Easiest to get to first. If they are ok,then the problem could be internal..
