Changing gas tank, need help

Might as well cut the fuel line below the fittings as you'd mangle the fuel line up getting them out. Plus you should have plenty of slack on the lines.Again use a little dab of grease or wd40 on the inside of the fuel line when inserting it into the new fitting. Makes life so much easier..

Not getting your drift on this? If the tank has the grommets and fittings installed(washers as you call em) all you have to do is snip the fuel lines below the old fittings, lube the fuel lines and slip them on the tank fittings, then slide the clamps up.

Tank is back on. Followed the suggestion to cut off from the fittings, and they didn't quite leave enough hose. I'm not able to get the line on the tank fitting all the way without creasing it. I thought I'd go ahead and buy new lines, but it appears the 8450103-600 is obsolete. I assume it's been replaced by another number (probably the same part from another atv) but I haven't figured it out yet.

Just match up the fuel line at your local auto store. If you want oem, then you'd pay top dollar. Here's what the new part is.Just bulk fuel line. http://www.partzilla.com/parts/detai...FYsCaQodAxcLgw
