Black is usually because of too much fuel, running rich.Either the needle and seat are worn, float level off, etc. Plus don't reuse plugs like this! They can partially foul and cause problems. Use only NGK BKR5ES or 6ES plugs. Here's the best post I've found on BST40 carbs. Similar to yours but used on a Ktm. Float level setting is critical as it shows this among other things in the pictures. The BST-40 Bible | Adventure Rider Plus here's the pdf fuel section from the manual on carbs that includes yours.https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...U2gGlaHJWSIlbA

Carb kit with new needle and seat along with making sure float is adjusted right should solve this along with plug turning black from too much fuel..

ok .. do you think maby i could be having electrical issues ? since my spark is orange and i seen you in another post some one made along time ago about somthing in the cdi mesing up and causing the kill switch to go bad ... and another about the ETC .. also i my primary has deffinetly been hitting the clutch cover in the past the cover is all torn up inside it and cracked it looks like some 1 melted some plastic on the inside to try and fix the big cracks in it .. my belt also dosent look the greatest kinda looks like the teeth are starting to go down and a couple r melted .. aslo primary is smooth as glass where the belt rides on i seen its suposed to be roughed up .. just looking for some other issues to fix while i wait for carb parts and air box seal ...

You're getting too far ahead of yourself!! Fix what you know is wrong first:carb and clutches, possibly new drive belt. Then concentrate on electrical if problem persists. It's called process of elimination..
