Yes,these style fuel pumps will fit ALL Polaris models and mount right up in stock position. Just be sure you need one. Can't remember all that you've done, but pull the fuel line from the carb and spin the engine over. Should be a steady or pulsing stream of fuel. If it's weak, order a new one.
thanks OPT one other off topic question
how do i set my rear shock more stiffer im not sure if its broken or out of adjusment but i can push my whole rear end down with my hands very easily it also makes a squishing sound when i push down but the shock dose rebound back up slowely

Easier to jack the machine up to take the load off and use the shock wrench in your tool kit to ramp up the spring adjuster. Some use a pipe wrench, but danger in cracking the adjuster collar if you do. Worn bushings can creak, but you can spray these with a good teflon type spray grease and stop most of it. Worst as you might be better having the rear shock rebuilt and recharged. Don't know what some places charge, but we charged 65 bucks to rebuild and recharge plus seal, shims.

Nitrogen charged. See if this video helps, plus I'd check local cycle shops to see what they charge. You can try to recharge one,but if been on the machine since day one,I'd have it rebuilt as the oil is probably black and seals are probably toast.

If yours is the model I'm thinking of,check that you have power and ground to the combo neutral/reverse bulb and it lights up in neutral and reverse. If you have power, but no dash lights, just replace this bulb. 1999 2000 2001 Polaris Scrambler 400 500 Neutral Reverse Dash Indicator Bulb | eBay

Clutches if still screwed up could be the cause of the jerking if pressure is on the driven clutch. Also make sure in neutral the shift lever is centered in the shift slot and has full forward travel. A simple linkage adjustment can solve this if needed. Once the clutches have been looked at,if it still has erratic engagement, could be a worn shift fork or worn engagement dogs on the forward gear or slider gear. Cross that bridge when you come to it on the shifting. One thing at a time and sounds like the clutches are next.
