No, this would not work well with your Scrammy 500. Weights and springs are hugely different than yours. Is your Scrammy stock? What are you trying to accomplish in regards to performance?

Your whole clutch system is different than the 800. You don't have the ebs system with the one way bearing in the front clutch and rear clutch is different also. This one will work, but shows two different style stationary ramps(helix) in the description. Your helix is on the right.Epi Sport Utility Clutch Kit 27 28" Tires WE425005 | eBay

All the 800s have ebs. Can't always go by their descriptions on the ads. Plus look at the helix they show.Retained by 4 screws. Your helix is retained by a circlip. Items 14,15,16.http://www.cyclepartswarehouse.com/f...1998&fveh=5457

It is odd that it states it will fit your model but as OPT indicated, fitment is often incorrectly represented. For a stock engine set up, you may only want a primary weight and spring change. Try Aaen, Team Roller, HPD, and EPI website. Might even have a Vender here that supports this site that you could have a look at.
