EPI Clutch Kit

I have a Kawasaki Prairie that I am thinking about adding a EPI clutch kit to and was wondering if there are any Polaris riders out there that has tried this mod, if so let me know.

I loved my EPI kits for my 2-strokes. I have heard a lot of good they can do on 4-strokes also but not evry rider has the same opinion.

i have one in my scrambler 500 and it works good. it improved take off and better shifting. if you do alot of mudriding or utility things you might want the utility kit

I'm also thinking of adding a clutch kit to my 2000 xplor 400 4x4. the sport utility kit; Hot Seat's or EPI's? I've heard good about both.And I heard that you don't get much gain unless you put a pipe on also.Is it worth it without putting a pipe on?

If you want an EPI sport/utility clutch kit, it is not compatible with a pipe. The pipe makes its power at higher RPM and the EPI kit counter-acts it's affect due to the new helix. Results in boggy power. You must get the clutch kit that goes with the pipe. On my Xplorer I have just the EPI and I love it. Performance gains were allright.

I just finished complete installation of Hot Seats performance clutch kit.I do have a pipe.DO NOT buy the entire clutch kit.You can save about 60 dollars by NOT buying the Helix.The new Helix they send you is useless,it is cut to allmost the SAME angle as the stock one,save your money and just buy the primary spring,weights,and the secondary spring.
