Default Kolpin Trail Box.

Bought a Kolpin Rear Trail box, also bought the Kolpin Lock and Ride mounts out too.

Very happy with it.

That's a nice looking box but seems to be a bit narrow. Sometimes that's a good thing because it's less likely to hit trees.

I agree, a nice looking box. I like that its not as big or bulky as some others I've seen. Looks like a box I might like to buy for my Brute Force.

Thanks. That was something that I wanted, narrower than the atv. It's also easier to see over when backing up too. I'm quite happy.

Just an update - after a drought we had 1.6" of rain over two nights... everything inside the box is dry. Some fine dust got in, but I can live with that.

Looks good. I had a smaller Kolpin box on the front of my Sportsman X2. Never failed me and everything stayed dry.

It seems obvious that the box should keep everything dry but unfortunately that's not always the case. Many boxes aren't really watertight and your stuff will get soaked. I guess when you find a good watertight box its a great thing.

I had/still have a Polaris structured soft bag that I also used until I messed up the zipper. That even kept things dry. Used to get a tiny bit of water in the under-the-front-rack storage. Not bad considering some of the deep water we went through. The Can-Am OEM rear box is excellent. No issues other than things bashing each other into submission from the rough trails. Worst was when I discovered my first aid kit had a 8 oz. water in it. Everything in the kit pretty much got destroyed.
