LED light bar and wiring?
#1
Added a 6" led light bar wired in to my high beams. Draws less than the lows.
I'd like to mount one on the rear for backing up. Can I wire in to reverse over ride, so I just press if needed? It would be a great day time back up light too.

my buddy did it on his yamaha...he wired a relay into the wire that lites up the "R" on the dashboard so when he hits reverse it powers the relay, thus sending power to the lite....not exactly how you were planning but how he did it and a viable option for you.

There's a sensor by the shift linkage that sends the info to the dash. If you have a manual, the schematic should show which wire is for the reverse indicator. Pretty sure that should do the trick. OPT would know best. Was easier on the older (mid 2000's) Polaris models which were factory wired for the revers light kit. Had a plug right in the headlight pod.
