Hi, My sportsman only came with one key. Is there any way to get a duplicate or do I need to go to the polaris dealer.

 

Some hardware stores that cut keys have the right blank. Usually, they don't. I got a blank from my dealer for about $8 and had it cut for a couple bucks at my local hardware store. Good peace of mind carrying a backup. Friend never carried his backup key. Forgot to take the key out of the ignition while loading. Drove 3 hours to discover the key had fallen out. Had to turn around. Not worth it, not having it.

 

If you bought it from a dealer they will usually give you a blank at no cost that you can bring to any place that cuts them. Otherwise, they're available at the dealer or you may get lucky and a locksmith might have the correct blank.

 

Or just replace the ignition key kit. I think the whole setup is maybe $15, and you get two keys!!
