Default Electrical problem

I have a Polaris 2008 400 ho. It runs fine except sometimes the screen will shut off and it won't start unless I touch the battery terminals together. It never shuts off when it's running. Any ideas?

You should never touch the battery terminals together. I don't know why that would help.

Or 10 years later someone replies to the thread asking if they figured it out, because they have the same problem.
