AC500 AUTO vs. SP500
You have bought 3 SP 700s? What a Polaris person.
Sounds like the newest Mossy-Oak 700 is the winner for now.
This should become a thread for owners of 500/600/700
Sportsman to discuss merits of each and going up or
down in displacement. What happened to those guys who
bought SP 700s early and went back to the 500?

Unfortunately I don't have a Polaris snowmobile to scrap. I do however have two Arctic Cats that I am not to particuarly fond of. Talk about awful. The sleds themselves are alright - kind of heavy though. But the engines down right suck. I would rather have a Skidoo, Polaris, or Yamaha. Yamaha is pretty good, but have zero dealer support here. For powder I would choose Skidoo or Polaris. For trail maybe Yamaha.

AC500 AUTO vs. SP500
After 30 minutes of reading I simply went to page 24. What a thread. However, being new to the forum and about to purchase my first atv (very excited and wishing I had it today as a hand plowed my driveway) I thought I would get some veteran opinions. Sportsman 500 or 600 (with winch and plow) and what about the griz?
Thanks and I'm going back to read the other pages now!!!

Scrap the Polaris for a Chevy? And give up the Powerstroke
in the mix? Not likely to happen here in Idaho. We have clean
air and right thinking minds here, Andy. I remember your long
and ugly problems with Polaris.... I wish they had taken better
care of you. I hope you are happy with the Griz 660. At least you
did not get stuck with one of those worthless Griz 600s.
I hope all is well in Arkansas. I assume your Duramax is running
like a champ. I was pulling about 8500 pounds of jetboat, trailer,
gear, dogs, people and stuff over to go bird hunting in Oregon
last weekend. All the Powerstroke had to say was " is that all you got?"
It is a dream machine for towing.

Dude, that was Bill Cilliberti that had all the problems with his SP500. I had an AC500 back then. And my 5.3 in my Silverado is running fine. Don't have the Duramax. I was talking about that six wheeled tub that the dude used to rave about on here all the time a few years ago. Buy a MAX!! Get a MAX!!! Remember that dude? MAXRULES!!!
Talk about some power, how about that new 6.0 diesel ford has now. Good lord!
