Lubing my chain...
#1
Another "newbie" question.....
I have the PJ1 Chain Lube (blue can). I understand that I need to lube my chain 20 min or so before each ride, and certainly after washing my quad.
1. As far as the lube application goes, do I spary the chain as it wraps around the sprocket?
2. Or, do I spray the part of the chain that is not touching anything?
3. Also, do I spray the entire chain?
4. Seems like the can says just to spay the inside of the links?
Thanks

Here's how I do it. After I wash my quad, I warm up the chain by riding for five minutes. This is an important step, a warm chain will suck the lube into all the nooks and crannies. I then push the quad from the grab bar, and spray the lube on it very generously as it goes around the rear sprocket. I then ride it for another minute or two to let it work into the chain.

Thanks Quadfather.
When all else fails ask. I was wrong, I haven't been lubing it while it was warm. I always make sure the chain is cold, then I let it sit for a while after I spray it.
I'll be ready next time.
