The dual brake levers are for real. The left is all wheel the right is rear wheels. At least that's what I was told b the dealer.

It’s been several weeks now since I rode it and age and abuse have taken their toll on my memory, but I’ll swear it had only one lever like all the other Polaris bikes. It sure has one big-*** rear brake rotor though, at least compared to the others. I just checked the Polaris website for specs and it doesn’t list the Sportsman 6x6, at least I couldn’t find it.

I have used the sportsman 6X6 many times for hauling wood, wood splitters, chain saws etc.The Polaris always started and ran well, but I found it under powered. espcially when towing with a load. Also I found that the front end tends to push a lot when haulin' a large load ,I needed to lean way over the bar to get traction ,very tiring when you have a fair distance to travel. A dump box is always handy for unloading. I found that a large 4X4 and trailer was more manuverable, faster and could haul more with less effort
