Getting under the SP500
#1
Getting ready to do some of the first routine maintenance on my 2000 SP500.
What is everyone doing to either raise, jack, get under their SP500 for things like oil changes, drive shaft lube, etc.? Is everyone using jackstands? Ramps? Lifting the bike somehow?
My other 2 quads ('89 TB, '01 Yamaha Breeze) are smaller and lighter and I can just turn them over for underneath items...but not my big, fat '00 SP500.
Thanks in advance for everyone's ideas!!!!

I typically use a floor jack and a sissors jack and provide additional support with jack stands. If you have a Sam's Club near you, they are carrying ATV lifts for around $99. This is the best price I have seen them.

I too am lucky, we have a car hoist out in the shop, and I built an adapter to use to raise the quad. Works pretty slick
If I did not have it I would invest in a atv hoist. Bad part about them is, you cant remove the skid plates once the atv is on it. I like to take the skid plate off for oil changes because the filter spills all over it.
