I am having a clearance problem with 28X12.5X12 OUTLAWS on the front of my 2001 HO. I installed a Hi Lifter Lift Kit and the fronts still hit the front fenders at the rear of the tire when you turn them all the way. I have them mounted on 12X8 wide offset chrome wheels. I'm not sure what to try first. I could take the fender flares off, but they will still hit if I turn sharply and am off camber. There doesn't seem to be a way to move the fenders to gain more clearance. Any thoughts would be appreciated...
Thanks

Take the four bolts that hold the floorboards dowm out. move the floorboards back about one inch hold in place with large c-clamp. Drill four new holes from the bottom up through the metal brackets on the frame. Replace bolts. you can also trim the "fins" on the inside of the fender for more clearence. when you move the floorboards back watch the plastic on the rest of the bike, it will shift some just make sure it doesnt get to out of wack. Hope this helps.

Thanks Bert..I have already moved the floorpans back, trimmed the underside lip and fender flares, but still hit the bottom of the floor pan when the wheels are turned lock to lock. I ordered a Progressive Spring Kit and 1 1/2" wheel spacers today. This may give me the small amount that I still need. The only drawback to this project is that I will be 58" wide with the spacers. It will be a challenge to follow my buddies thru some narrow trails. Thanks again...the saga continues.
