I have a sram 500 with stock steel rims. They are all dented(not badly)but, one tire leaks from rim.It seems to leak from multiple areas around the seat or rim.I fill it,ride for a while, fill it again. Will slime work for this application?

I have had good luck with Slime sealing slow leaks around the bead. Take the tire off the machine, put the slime in, and roll the tire around on end and on the side to make sure that the slime will get up around the bead. Air it up and it should hold air. Hope this helps.

One other thing to check for is debris between the rim and the tire.

I had the same problem. Slime fixed it.

I had the same problem.
Put a can of any brand of tire sealer in it and forget it.

You really don't need to remove the tire; but as soon as you put it in, go for a ride to make sure it gets well-distributed.
