Rolled the Scrambler hard and got ripped off at the dealership...

Since I am in buisness for myself I may have a different point of view. Here in Quebec most dealers make 35% mark-up on parts...at most. I know because I have made inquiries to the suppliers up here. 35% is not a lot. In the shopping mall, most clothing stores make from 100% to 1000% profit. Rent, employees, losses all need to be payed.
The way I see it is the dealers offer us a service and know that if we need parts...we will go back no matter what price!
I do agree that OEM Polaris parts are cheaper than aftermarket. Heavy and weak... Just my opinion though.

xplor,
i could not agree more with you. i keep my machines 'polaris authentic'.
at re-sale time the biggest turn-off to the next buyer is all the aftermarket 'crap' people have put-on their quads to save $50! CHEAP,CHEAP,CHEAP!
i always sell my used quads for MORE money because my buyers see the value in OEM parts!
'01 sp 500 ho (red)
2000lb warn winch
26" outlaws on alloys
rest is stock and loving it!
P.S. if one dealer won't deal, another will......
