I not sure if they sell a lighter spring for the front clutch but that might be all you need. It would lower the engagement speed a little.
The only problem with lowering the engagment is if the clutch starts grabbing the belt at idle. This would burn the belt out if you you are in gear not moving. Question is how many RPM's between idle and clutch engagement.
I think Jack Schultz is going for the same thing. Perhaps he can chime in with some wizdom in that area.
Unfortunatly i ride with all sport quads so a low smooth engagement is not for me.
