Still having gas problems with my 325...Help....
#1
I'm still having gas problems with my 325. After I run it awhile (1 hour) and stop....and try to start it 15 minutes later....it starts, but it's all loaded up with gas... It coughs and sputters for a little bit until it burns the excess gas. Had it to the dealer three times....they've replaces the needle and seat and adjusted the floats. They've called Polaris three time and can't figure it out.
During and after a long ride (1 hour plus) I can smell gas... The gas smell is so strong that I cannot park the 4 wheeler in the garage after a ride.
Anyone else having this problem?
Thanks again.....

Someone posted with a similar problem a few weeks ago, but for the life of me I can't find it or remember who it was. Thought I printed it out and everything. Anyway, I'll keep looking for you.
Seems like it was something as simple at the vent tube or adding a vented gas cap.

The post may have been from me....I've posted this problem a couple times.
You mention a vented gas cap. (Someone else mentioned that too.) My vent tude is open....
I ride with other Polaris ATV's, including another 325, they don't have the problem.....What's wrong with mine???? (Sorry....getting frustrated....)
Thanks again.

My ATV doesn't shut down......it's just hard to start and keep running after you shut it off and wait for 10 minutes + before trying to start it. And, it doesn't do it every time.
Thanks again for your help.
