Ok, I gotta tell ya'll about the two sweet deals I got...
When I bought the Scrambler 500 in early 98, it was about 9 months old. Granted its a 97 that isn't H.O. but for under $3000.00 I feel like I ripped somebody a new one...( hopefully not myself) The machine had no problems and has been abused and mis-used from the day I brought it home and has ran flawlessly except for a few of MY screw-ups.
Thinking I would NEVER come across a deal like that again, I have been preparing to brace myself for the purchase of a new Magnum 500.... Well, I ran into an old girlfriend that was in the middle of a divorce... she had possession of HIS new 99 Magnum 500 and asked if I knew anybody wanting to buy one... I asked her "How much?"
She said.. oh, bout $500.00 ought to do it...
I fell on the floor and asked her again... then I asked if she had the clear title... she said Yeah.. $500.00 and you get the clear title into your name...
Well, I now own that 99 Magnum 500 for the sale price of almost $600.00 after title transfer fees.
It came with 27" Blackwater XT's on ITP chrome and Black wheels.
I talked to her several weeks later, and she had sent his lawyer a check for $250.00 his half of the sale price...
This makes me think I might not EVER get married again.... I could just see some guy drooling cause a pissed off soon to be ex-wife is selling all MY toys to him for $500.00.....

The TRAILBLAZER is hard to beat for the $$$. THe peppy 250cc two stroke is fun and cheap to performance modify.
I have an older 250cc trailboss(almost same as the Trailblazer) and it has been trouble free since 1993.
Polaris quads are easy to ride, durable and sporty. My wife even rides mine because it is so simple to operate.
For $3,000 the Trail Blazer is the best bang for your buck. The Yamaha Blaster is @ $3,000 but it is not even close to the value of the Polaris.

The rest of us can only wish for a sweet deal like mudmachine's,and pray it doesn't happen to us.I bought a Trail Blazer because it was cheap enough that I could also keep my '99 Trail Boss for my wife. And I'm going to spend about $350 in mods and I will still be under $3500 thats a good deal in my book.
