Me and my friend are going to conduct our own shootout. He has the 250ex. We've come up with these for shootout competitions.

1.Mud Competition
2.Drag Race
3.Jumping
4.Power Characteristics
5.High Speed Stability
6.Trail Riding
7.Rock Riding
8.Comfort
9.Turning Radius
10.Sliding Ability
11.Hillclimbing
12.Maintenance Ease
13.Oval Racing
14.Tricks
15.Handling

The only mods that we have that will affect the outcome are I have a K&N Filter, Fast Trekker Rears, and Tracker P fronts. The 250ex has Rear Realtors.
We are looking for unbiased opinions to who will win each catagory. So if you would when you reply just write 1-15 and write either TB or EX next to the number. And at the bottom just write overall and then the winner.
At the end we will post the results to the shootout and then the overall winner.
Sorry this is so long but i appreciate you reading it. Thanks again and i'm looking forward to this.

1. EX-better tires. belt won't slip.
2. TB-Two stroke power.
3. EX-alot lighter. better built.
4. TB-two stroke.
5. TB-wider, longer, feels planted to the ground.
6. EX-lighter weight, smaller.
7. Tie-polaris is more stable but lag time from belt hurts when rock crawling. honda has a more direct drive than the belt on the polaris giving it instant traction when you punch the throttle.
8. TB-big cooshy seat, softer suspension with more travel.
9. ???i don't know
10. TB-more stability=better sliding. two stroke power.
11. TB-always in right gear. front end is heavier. it won't pop up like the light front end on the EX.
12. EX- four stroke, shaft drive.
13. TB-wider is better....once again.
14. EX-alot lighter.
15. tie-TB is wider and more stable. EX is lighter and more nimble.

this is just how i think the two compare.

1. EX, more low end torque, no lag time in belt.
2. tied
3. EX, lighter
4. Guess it would depend on wether you liked 2 or 4 strokes.
5. TB, wider and longer
6. EX lighter smaller more nimble
7. I am not sure on that one.
8.TB, floor boards soft plush seat, fits better range of riders
9. Still not sure
10. EX, lighter etc.
11. EX, better low end torque no belt slipping
12. EX, Honda's are known to be bulletproof, Polaris isn't.
13. TB, Wider longer, 2 stroke top end
14. EX, Lighter, can stay in air longer.
15. EX, lighter nimbler

Overall: 250EX- 7 wins

1.Mud Competition EX (lighter)
2.Drag Race TB (2 stroke)
3.Jumping EX (Lighter and smaller)
4.Power Characteristics TB (2 stroke)
5.High Speed Stability TB (WIDER IS BETTER)
6.Trail Riding TB (Better suspension,Seat,) (SMALLER RIDERS MIGHT LIKE EX BETTER)
7.Rock Riding EX (Lighter and Smaller (easier to Move around)
8.Comfort TB for most because of fit and ease of driving (Samller rider may like EX)
9.Turning Radius EX (SMALLER) Like a JEEP comparred to Expedition
10.Sliding Ability TB (2 stroke) Wider so more stabile
11.Hillclimbing TB AUTO TRANS
12.Maintenance Ease TB (No Oil Change) Just Grease it once in a while, gas & go
13.Oval Racing TB (Wider, Longer, 2 stroke power)
14.Tricks EX (Smaller,Lighter)
15.Handling TB/EX Depends on rider, I think the TB is much easier to ride. But the EX would
be lighter and smaller (easier to throw around) DEPENDS ON HOW YOU WANT TO RIDE.
