I was woundering if any one would know the top speed of my 2001 Sportsman400 the only mod I have is a K&N air filter and a K&N Supercharger sticker?

My sportsman 400 does about 47 Maxed out for a couple of sec. on a long straight away, maybe even 50.

 

Really I had my Sportz on a speed run and it was like 55MPH and felt like she had some more. (Ran out of road)
How fast is the 500HO?

 

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] Maybe my speedo is out but I don't think so, an honest 60 mph with the wife on board with me, we can run all day with a 500 Magnum. His speedo also had us at 60+ a hair. 400 Sp completely stock with about 200 miles on it. All-Terrain Mag did a test on the Sp 400 they said there's regularly pulled mid 50 mph.

 

I have had my 01 400 going 50 or so on the speedo. Actually it was like 55 on it but my GPS said like 49 to 50 at max with just a K&N filter. It is pretty quick but not ballistic like some. It has enough for me since I can't really open it so much where I ride.

 

WOw thats it? i buried the needle on my unlces SP400. those bikes are really really nice they ride nice and have good speed.

 

what year is his Sportz????

 

My father in law bought a 2002 sport 400 top speed is 56 I bought a 2002 sport500 H.O. a week later and my top speed is 62 we have made no mods to either sport as yet.
