Disappointed with the New Sportsman 700

A buddy of mine got rid of his 00 SP cause of the weight and size. Other than that it was a fine machine with little trouble. The terrain we ride in WV is extremely vertical and narrow, high off camber trails. The added weight, width and being so high off the ground made it a little unnerving on these mountains. I think that is why people are concerned with weight, height, etc. The SP is the king of mud in my opinion, but around here, you can go around a mudhold but you can't go around a steep mountain.
One time on a high, narrow trail, we all went around this rock that stuck out on the trail. The guy on the sp kicked off the trail due to the width. We had to winch this thing off 3 trees in a triangle, hooked to the back end to pull it back up on the trail. Any other bike, we could have just lifted it back on the trail. I respect Polaris and have owned one, but some of their bikes are too heavy/high for me.

JHAM,
im with you 100% bro.Myself and 8 others made it to the Hatfield McCoy trails for 3 days in WV this past spring.I own a very big 00 Xplorer 400cc 4x4 and some of them Mountains were VERY nerving to me.My Xplorer was WAY to high centered for some of them Mountain sides.I would of felt alot better on a smaller 4x4 ATV like the King Quad?

Well where shoud I begin? The new Quest 650 is just now up for sale, they use Rotax motors, which are known to be excellent motors. AND the snowmachines you mentioned have not been built in the F or S Chassis in at least 4 years. They stopped using old technolgy with new stickers and calling it "all new" a long time ago. And another thing, winning an argument on the internet is like winning something in the special olympics- When all is said and done, your still a retard.

MXZX,
Your beloved Quest 650 was a total joke today at the ATV pull. I really liked the burning belt and blue smoke show. What a piece of crap.
The 660 Grizzly was also a piece of crap. The Older 600 yamaha beat the 660 on every pull. So much for the 5 valve head.
BTW Kawasaki 650 twins demolished all other atvs including Polaris 500 HO's.
