Yesterday, sunday, I went to the minnesota state fair. A polaris
booth, had 1 sp700 their. I sat on it. It does look very much like
the 500. Maybe the new digital speedo, won't fog up, like the old
style did? The front end bumper setup was a little different and the
rad. looked bigger and more up front but with better protection then
the old style. From a distance, it looks like a 500.

Also, there is a new minnesota company that is selling snowtracks. The company name is mattracks. Its a northern minnesota company. They
sell their snowtracks for both trucks and atv's. For trucks. there suggested price was $15,000.00. for atv's they were listing for
$3,400.00. These tracks can be used year round, in all terrain. Not just snow. I believe that with them on an atv. Your atv would do better in deep snow then your snowmobile. this setup then, makes your atv a bonified 12 month machine, even in snow country. I liked them and would like to save up and buy them. You can put them on any
atv. They stick out past your tire panels so you don't have to worry about whether you can put them on with out a lift kit like we do with tires. They fit. They are wide rubber tracks with grips and float over 5 wheels I think it is. You just take your tire off and bolt them on like you do a tire. Pretty slick!!

Last year on the tv show "TRUCKS" they put a set of those on a chevy 1/2 ton cab and a half pickup and went off-road with them. They handled very poorly but they went Really good! I wouldn't want to drive real far with them on an atv because i have heard they are really hard to steer , but they will take you were you want to go !

I was wondering about that. Steering them? that might be the one draw back. If most turns were not too sharp, they are probably ok. Might be tough in a tight spot. I might start saving for a set. -rangerchet
