I have a 200 Trailblazer and the starter went out. The dealer said it would be 340.00 for a new starter. Can you rebuild them and how hard are they to pull of the bike? Does any one know of any after market starters?

Ok well i was just looking on these forums and I seen a guy had to rebuild his starter for his Polaris Deisel and it cost him around 860.00. I was just looking at my Dennis Kirk magazine and it says in here that you can get a starter for the Polaris Trailblazer for 269.99. I would go and do that and install it my self that would be your best bet.

I have rebuilt the starter on my 2000 xplorer 400 twice. They are very easy to rebuild. If your starter just clicks now then it is the brushes. The brush kit is around 40 bucks. Make sure you get new rubber seals since you got it apart. Your manual should show you how to take it apart.
