You might find what you need at RCR. I know I did for my 400 Scrambler. www.rittercycle.com

Add an HPD pipe/silencer, clutch kit, and a Uni-Filter. You'll be amazed at the difference.

redjosh,

I have the RCR kit in Celeste's Trailblazer and the difference is like night and day. It would never wheelie before I put the kit in, now it wheelies quite well. Also, another thing you can do is to put a larger carb (Mikuni VM34SS or Kehin 35mm PWK). I really seems to wake these "little" machines up. If you have a friend with a Sport or Scrambler that has replaced the carb on his ask if you can have it. With some minor rejetting they can be made to work.

Hope this helps

"new" reeds, or "some" reeds? I hear the reed kit from HPD runs around $1500. A TrailBlazer doesn't have reeds.

HPD does make a mod to install a V-FORCE Delta II reed valve in the 250 trail blazer , the kit sells for 148.00 according to their web site.

That is the price of the reeds. That does not include the price of machining the cylinder to accept them. The entire reed performance package, which includes the reeds, machining for them, porting, pipe/silencer, and a few other goodies runs almost $1400 from what I have heard.

Now back to the original topic. You definitly want to get a pipe and some clutch work done. Contact RCR and talk to Rick. He sells both RCR and HPD, so no matter what you decide, he can hook you up. Plus he has the best costomer service anywhere. RCR and HPD are two of the best kits you can buy in my opinion. I have the RCR stage 1 kit on my Blazer, and it is like a night and day difference.
