What are the differences in Titan 589s and ITP 589s?

They look the same.

 

That's a no-brainer. The Titan M/T is much better. Especially the bead guard. Treads are similar, but the MT is better. I have the originals on my SP, and the M/T's on the KQ. I'd go M/T any day.

 

Thanks for the info. I think the 589 M/S (Titan) will be my next tire. Is the ride smooth like the stock Goodyears?

 

Ride isn't bad at all, but with all that lug. there is a little bit of shimmy in the bars at slower speeds.
Not sure on the newer ones as I only have them on th rear of the KQ.

 

I just put titan 589 m/t's on my HO. I put 25x8x12 (stock) on the front and 25x12x10 on the rear. Just as the previous post said, you get a little bit of vibration at VERY low speeds on hardpack, but on the trails I cannot tell any difference. It certainly does steer easier with the 6 ply tires up front. It does feel a little more unstable at high speeds (40mph+) than before, but I rarely go that fast. I have logged about 100 miles on them so far and I am happy with them.
