This was funny for the first 5 minutes...
#1
I went riding at wayne national forest this past weekend which isn't that new but while riding on the trails I noticed that my temperature light came on so I pulled it off the trail and turned the motor off and turned the power switch on to let the fan run to cool the motor off (it has done this before when I get mud caked in the radiator) so I wait 5 minutes and it still hasn't cooled down. I could hear the fan motor running and when I got to looking at it the fan motor was there but the fan blades weren't. It seems as though the fan blade decided to eject somewhere along the trail. Personally I thought that it was funny until I realized that I was about 2 hours from the truck. So I limped back stopping as soon as the light came on and let it set for 15 to 20 minutes and then on I went. I ordered the new ducted fan assembly that comes with the new polaris 400's and 500's. Has anyone tried to put the new ducted assembly on an older polaris without the ducted assembly?
