Need clutch puller
#1
I've been looking for a puller from my dealer but he doesn't stock them and tells
me he can order one but it could take up to 4-6 weeks to get one. Some thing about polaris is redoing their tooling division or some kind of crap like that.
If you've ever taken you clutch off, then you know that these pullers are just a bolt you screw into the clutch and tighten to push it off the crank. does anyone know what size this bolt is and where i could possibly find one.

thanks for all the info...im as cheap as the next guy and I like that 1.00 price tag.
Im going to try shaggys idea. Correct me if im wrong, but its just a fine pitch 3/4" bolt? When I taked to my dealer, he told me it was a metric size bolt. Now do you think he would tell me that just so i had to buy one?

I picked up the one I use several years ago at a local bargain type surplus store. I couldn't remember the size at first. So the size info I gave was from a post of farm123's. My brother is in possession of mine so I can't double check it.

I was referring to a 3/8 ratchet extension to be used as a spacer between the bolt and the crank. Put the large end in first btw.

You can even buy a hitch ball with 3/4" fine thread.........and use a 3/8" extension. I used a 12mm socket attached to the end of the 3/8" extension, along with the long shank hitch ball. Kinda jimmy-rigged, but it worked.
