your clutch set up will greatly improve your performance if you set it up for YOUR type of riding.I have my 2 stroke set up to pull and mud with.My 425 is set up for trails.

Clutch work = efficeint power transfere from crank to rear wheels. It means a lot and is very misunderstood!
Madscrambler, given the information you gave one can only make suggestions at best, as two indenticaly modded machines may not perform equal with the same clutching.
#1 You say you have a low end pipe? Why use the Brown spring which engages fairy high, especially on a non-ported motor? I sould suggest you try the Orange from RCR/HPD. I didn't goto a Brown untill I had HPD trail porting.
#2 You may be OK with the 56gm weights, try putting the OE S55gm back in with the Orange.
#3 The angle of helix you have would be usefull to know here, I would suggest something like a 42/38.
#4 The violet secondary is a good spring to use, what position do you have it set too?
#5 Make sure your clutches are aligned. If not properly aligned the belt can bind causing friction, the worst enemy to a CVT tranny.
#6 Clutching is not an exact science and all of the above are merely suggestions, not concrete answers to your question. Clutching is a huge pain in the ****, hence why it is most often overlooked and neglected. There is NO specific answer to your question, its a matter or time and tuning.
