Also have to agree with Farmer. You can get away with a lot more if you install the Works shock/struts, or the custom HPD units. Those 400ex's sail really nice..balanced.

 

I have a Scrambler 400. I ride mostly Dunes and dessert. The group I ride with consist of two 250R and one banshee. They beat me in races but I hang with them on the dunes. Also I have done some pretty high/ far jumps on it. Bent 4 rear rims so far on landing but never broke a chain. I beat the heck out of this quad. And I love it. I ride one-way ***** out and full throttle. So far nothing but good luck.
