My battery lasted almost 2 1/2 years but I use my winch lots and ride in cold weather too.

I use battery tenders on all my batteries......they are especially good if you live in a climate that gets cold, or if you store your atv for any amount of time. Trust me when I say they will pay themselves off in the future.

Indybred, looks like my answer is a battery tender. Did you get your's from the the dealer or somewhere's else. I saw one at Sears for $29.00 the dealer dosn't even have them in stock and it would probably cost me BIG BUCKS if I bought it from the dealer.

I bought mine at walmart for $15-20 each, cant quite remember but it wasnt more then $20. Its an everstart battery companion 1.5 amp trickle battery charger/maintainer with float-mode monitoring. an excellant buy in my opinion. Thats really all you need to maintain a battery in cold or storage conditions.

We have Two Walmarts in our area. Thanks for saving me some money.

Hopefully the battery will hold a charge or I'll have to buy anouther one and those small seeled batteries are eather to tall or to small and won't fit right in the battery tray.
I might just bring it down to Interstate Batteries and get a new one if this one won't hold a charge. Thanks again.
